Before we talk turkey…
I’ve spent the last 20 years of my life studying photography, but I’ve also spent that time running a business. I understand value, and there is a lot of value baked into these costs. This is an investment decision for you. No, there’s no financial return on that investment, but there’s an emotional return—and a big one. I’ve spent my entire career trying to maximize that return through the study of technique, psychology, the scarcity of time and its most effective allocation, communication, building relationships, professionalism, accountability, family, and love. I’ve made it my mission not only to photograph the day, but also to learn how to guide you both toward having the most fun you’ve ever had, give your family peace of mind, and make every person in attendance feel seen, important, and loved. There’s a lot that goes into this, and I’d love to talk more about it.
Digital.

$7500
This is simple. Myself, my second photographer, from hair & make up to the last dance. No hourly limits on anything and digital downloads of everything in high resolution. DIY? This is for you. On a budget, but still truly value good photography, this is for you.
In a world of AI slop, endless scrolling, owning nothing, and digital everything, this is my form of rebellion.
This is about heirlooms.
This is about something tangible, this is about something real.
Included is the day covered in its entirety, with no hourly limits, by myself and my trusted assistant. Some of the day will be shot on film (why? Because it’s beautiful, that’s why) and some digital (because we live in the 21st century. ) You’ll then receive a big box of prints. Yes, real prints, printed by myself on exhibition fibre paper, and maybe even some in the darkroom. After that, the main attraction - a leather album handmade in Italy as well as two smaller parent albums.
The entire premise of this package is the physical, the real, the tangible. You’ll walk away with yes all the digital files, but more importantly something that will last you and your family forever.
Analogue.
$9500
This is everything wedding related I can offer. We’ll start with an engagement session so we can get to know each other and you can get comfortable in front of the camera. Once wedding weekend comes, I’ll come for the rehearsal and welcome dinner. Usually 2-3 hours is perfect for that, but we’ll figure out what you need. Then on the wedding day there is no limits. I’ll come in the morning when things start happening and I’m there until the DJ shuts it down and you get kicked out. After the wedding is over and the images are deliveries 6-8 weeks later, you’ll then get a 9x12 wedding album and (2) 8x8 parent albums.
This package is literally everything I have to offer to make the experience completely unique and frictionless.
The Entire Experience.
FAQs
-
I’m here to make you feel as comfortable as possible. We’ll start with a zoom chat to get to know each other and make sure it’s the right fit. After you talk it over together or with family, we’ll handle the contract and retainer payment and the date is yours.
-
There is a $1000 retainer and the balance is due a week before the wedding.

99% of the weddings it is my good friend, Mat. He’s worked with me since 2013 and is a great asset to me. On the occasions Mat has his own wedding to shoot or needs a day off, I have a network of talented photographers I’ve worked with over the years that I am lucky to call friends.
-
Well, yes and no. Yes, as in there isn’t an hourly limit, but I really don’t think having me when you roll out of bed is a great idea. I’m at my best when I can have coffee in the morning with my wife & son. Plus, I shoot with very high resolution cameras, ask yourself honestly how many high resolution pictures of yourself you want before makeup and coffee? Mmmmhmmm… That being said, I have shot Southeast Asian weddings that start with a sunrise portrait session, for such situations I’m all in. On the rarest of occasions I reserve the right to charge an extra fee for an exceptionally long shooting day, but that’s a rarity.

Check out this guide I wrote! Lot’s of good tips here whether you book me or not.

Film IS AWESOME. It’s undeniably beautiful and undeniably full of character. It’s an adventure, it’s so rewarding, but it ain’t cheap. So I do charge extra for film. I charge a blanket $300 fee to shoot film. That covers all of the costs of the film & processing and allows me to shoot it freely on your day as much as the situations allow! (Included in the analogue package)
-
Absolutely. As much as I love my second shooters and absolute ragers, I love equally small weddings where I get to shoot as the only camera there. Shooting alone gives me full ability to move around without bumping into my second shooter or a team of videographers. These are quoted custom, so best bet is to just ask!
-
Absolutely. I can’t say I’ll give up a Saturday in June 2 years in advance for a 2 hour booking, but please reach out about this. I’m happy to give you a custom quote based on availability and your wedding. I love all kinds of weddings and I’d love to shoot your tiny little courthouse ceremony with post ceremony tacos on a Tuesday morning, too.
-
Absolutely! Engagement sessions are $600 and man is the sky the limit with those. I love anything funky, anything fun, anything that is special to this specific moment in your life. I don’t have “standard spots” or “standard shots” that I take because I don’t have “standard couples”. We’ll chat more in depth about this if you’d like and you can read more about my approach here!

Oh boy. This question sucks, but it’s one we have to talk about. I’m a reasonable person. If a Covid-19-like event happens and the government forces you to reschedule your wedding, that’s outside of your control, I understand. If a family member falls ill and you want to push the wedding back or move it up so they can attend, I’m here for you. We’ll find a new date, we’ll figure it out. For most rescheduling purposes, it won’t be a big deal. I reserve the right to charge a $500 rescheduling fee if it’s moved to the following calendar year. That being said, I do have a cancellation fee. If you’ve read this far, you’ve figured out that it’s very important to me that you guys trust me with your day and I’ve dedicated my professional life to earning that trust. But trust is a two-way street, and when we enter into a contract you are agree to uphold your end of the bargain and get married on the agreed upon date. If you cancel the wedding within 6 months of the wedding there is a cancelation fee of 35% of the balance. Within 90 days of the wedding, 50% of the balance. Within 30 days, 75% of the balance.

Boy has the answer to this question morphed over the last few years. I’ve photographed weddings with bulging discs in my back, torn ligaments in my knee, the stomach flu, the regular flu, and colds and bugs of all sorts. The night before a wedding I eat chicken and rice to avoid any chance of food poisoning. I stay in shape, I take care of my body, and I really focus on staying healthy. I’ve had to miss 3 weddings after getting Covid-19 on 2 separate occasions. Those were not fun phone calls to make, but on those occasions I was lucky enough to call on my friends to jump in and save the day. Each wedding had a different outcome, but everyone lived happily ever after. No pending lawsuits, no missed photos.
-
Absolutely! But I don’t post those for privacy reasons. I have some that people have given express permission to give show them privately. Once we go through the zoom meeting and I decide you’re not a crazy person, I’ll happily share them.
-
No. No taxes, nothing that’s coming after the fact. $4500 is the bottom line.
-
Absolutely! I love welcome dinners! Occasionally I shoot two-wedding weekends, so I may not be available, but if I am, I’ll provide a cost to you! Usually they range around $600-$1000 depending on the time needed, but I’ll give you a custom quote based on your event.
-
Well, that depends. If I can have coffee with my wife and be home in my bed by 2AM, then no. If only one of those things can happen, maybe. Typically that means anything within a 2.5 hour drive of 19973 is fair game. Beyond that, there will be fee. Usually a hotel room and some extra mileage. If it’s a multiple night stay 6 hours away or I need to get on a plane, then yes, expect a travel fee. That being said, I love to travel. I love it even more if I can take my family on a road trip. I’m not looking at the travel fee as a source of revenue, I just can’t lose money on it. There’s a lot of maybes in that paragraph, it’s best to just ask to know for sure.
-
Not directly, but if you’re after something simple I can help manage that part of the day. I have a few friends who I sub-contract and work under my umbrella. I love to manage the media if possible so I can give you the best photos possible.
-
It’s all about the Tik-Toks baby. I have a few friends on the roster that offer this. I love to manage the media so I can give you the best photos possible. If this is something you’re interested in, please reach out. Happy to coordinate it!

Absolutely. If you want to add or remove, it’s no problem at all. If you have a budget and you’re trying to make me fit into it, just let me know what your date is, what your budget is, and we could possibly find a mutually beneficial arrangement.
